Dick and I went to Ward Elementary School together and I still have photos of us doing a science experiment. We were always in a contest to beat each other at multiplication skills and anything that was competitive. We didn't have any classes together at SSHS, but I remember him fondly from those early days.
Dick was always a good friend to me. Because we were "post graduate" seniors, we went to the "extention" (IUPUI) for college classes the last semester. We "road together"...Dick, Tom Ogles, and me. I was the driver in my old Plymouth which I loved. Good memories of DIck.
